MGIP Newsletter July 2018

For the first time ever the MGIP summer meeting took place in the United Kingdom, at the historical Cumberland Lodge, from 29th June  to 2nd July 2018.

During the three-day event, around  80 members and guests came together to work, to discuss and to listen to lectures.  The weather was fantastic, very sunny and hot, unusual for England, so the meetings, as well as the lectures and especially the meals, could take place within the wide and picturesque grounds of the Lodge – be it the dinners in the historical dining room, the Rights Centre in the Mews, the lunches in Windsor Great Park or the concerts in the drawing room – the gorgeous location was entirely our own for these few days.

MGIP Book Award 2018

Now in its 3rd year, the MGIP Book Award was voted for by all attending members during the summer meeting. This year we had a total of 65 entries and our members had a tough time making their decisions because there were so many fantastic books.
